Good Shepherd Pet Services is looking for a Human Resources Manager in our Upstate territory, located in Piedmont, SC. Owned and operated by a licensed funeral director, Good Shepherd goes above and beyond the industry standards for death care. We partner with veterinarians to create a lasting impression for their customers and their practices - one that is not focused on the death, but on the care and compassion that each owner receives throughout the process! This position is full time, Monday - Friday, 8:00AM- 5:00PM. Some Saturdays from 8:00AM - 12:00PM are required, but this occurs only once or twice a month.
Responsibilities include:
-Conducting Interviews/Hiring Process
- Managing payroll, Time off requests, and bank deposits
- Sales Tax for multiple states
- Answer phone calls with speed and efficiency, while maintaining other tasks
- Greet customers at the office and address customer questions/concerns
- Manage accounts receivable and payable, collect payment
- Track, Order and manage inventory
- Invoicing for multiple territories
- Perform administrative and office tasks
- Supervise facility to ensure professionalism, ethical standards, and efficiency
- Other duties as qualified and requested
Requirements:
- Very strong detail orientation and ability to multi-task
- Professional telephone etiquette
- High level of interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Positive, outgoing personality
- Compassion and sensitivity when dealing with grieving pet owners
- Demonstrated computer skills and history of job commitment
- Ability to pass random drug screening
- College degree
- Business education preferred, but not required
- (1) year of experience with QuickBooks
- Occasional travel as needed
