Position Summary
The purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to the Talent Acquisition function to ensure employment processes are in compliance with Company practices and state and federal regulations. Duties include but are not limited to: processing job offers, coordinating new hire paperwork and new hire orientation, and reporting.
Job Responsibilities
- Assists Talent Acquisition team with administrative activities related to the attraction, hiring, and retention of talent.
- Facilitates pre-employment testing, background checking, drug screening, and processing of job offers.
- Coordinates temporary services staffing across the company.
- Coordinates the seasonal hiring program with college students.
- Maintains accurate documentation in recruiting system for affirmative action reporting.
- Coordinates new associate orientation sessions, including scheduling, maintaining presentation materials, and facilitating sessions.
- Reviews new hire paperwork for completeness and accuracy and follows up with associates as necessary.
- Coordinates E-Verify program and I-9 paperwork in line with regulations.
- Maintains monthly and quarterly reports related to Talent Acquisition.
- Creates purchase orders for vendors and monitors monthly invoices for payment.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- High school graduate or General Education Degree (GED) with 5+ years of administrative experience, preferably in an HR department.
- Bachelor's degree with HR focus will be considered in lieu of experience.
Other Skills/Qualifications:
- High degree of integrity, sensitivity and professionalism in dealing with confidential information.
- Ability to connect and engage with people in a professional and tactful manner.
- High tolerance for workload demands, pressures and deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate and work in an effective partnership with others.
- Proficient with MS Office suite.
- Ability to compile and analyze data for reporting purposes.
Physical Requirements
Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time. Occasional travel to customer sites and/or industry and training events may also be required, depending on assignment.
