JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the General Manager, the HR Manager represents and advances the culture and sense of inclusion and belonging at the community. The HR Manager is responsible for internal and external HR and business office customer service and support. The HR Manager actively recruits for open positions and maintains a pipeline of qualified talent for the essential positions at the community. The HR Manager manages the onboarding process as well as employee recognition programs. The HR Manager supervises the Concierge Staff. The HR Manager respectfully interacts with all residents, family members, visitors, colleagues and team members.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field or at least 5 years of experience as an HR Manager or relevant human resources or administrative position
· HR experience in healthcare or senior living community preferred
· SHRM-CP, PHR certification preferred
· Maintains the strictest confidentiality
· Strong ability using MS Office
· Experience with HRIS system, Paycom experience is ideal
· Familiarity with social media recruiting
· Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance
· Maintain records of personnel-related data in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met
· Manage the recruitment/hiring process by sourcing candidates, performing all pre-hire and onboarding requirements
· Set the work schedule and monitor the performance of the Concierge staff from hiring, training, coaching and off boarding
· Maintain personnel and medical files for employees
· Maintain AHCA roster and training requirements for employees
· Tracks licensure, certification and TB requirements for all staff
· Manages resident census, billing and cash receipts
· Assists and communicates with residents regarding monthly billing inquiries
· Assists with routing of vendor invoices to department heads for appropriate approval, coding, and submission to management company for processing
· Assist supervisors in performance management procedures
· Plan, organize and execute all employee recognition programs in coordination with leadership team
· Schedule meetings, interviews, and HR events
· Coordinate orientation and reorientation sessions and training seminars
· Perform orientations, onboarding and update records with new hires
· Produce and submit reports on general HR activity
· Assist in ad-hoc HR projects
· Identify recruiting needs with various hiring managers
· Work with LifeStar Talent management to modify the language on the job description and develop timelines for filling rolls
· Work with LifeStar Talent management to create job postings on social media and job boards to attract applicants online
· Communicate regularly and professionally with all candidates on an on-going basis

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is conducted primarily in a senior living community and its surrounding grounds. This position involves a wide variety of environmental and atmospheric conditions. This position frequently requires working within strict deadlines, under stressful conditions and with a variety of personalities, who may at times be emotional.
