This position is responsible for the administration of the leave of absence policies. Includes but is not limited to leave administration in accordance with company policy and federal and state law, report generation and communication with employees, managers, insurance carriers/third party administrators, medical personnel and attorneys. May report data as needed. Other duties as assigned.

BS/BA degree required preferably in Human Resources, Business, Management, Sociology, Psychology, or other relevant area. Equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of degree.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in administration of multi-state leave of absence policies and related processes preferred; relevant education or experience in human resources, business administration, or vendor management may be considered as an equivalency. Analytical, communication (verbal and written), and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to employees at all levels, required. Ability to manage time and workload effectively which includes planning, organizing, and prioritizing with attention to details. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision – must be able to work independently and within tight deadlines. Proficient with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
Comprehensive knowledge of FMLA, and leave of absence guidelines, laws, and regulations. Capacity to manage confidential data with a strong sense of integrity as well as sound judgment, awareness and business ethics. Positive team player with a personal sense of urgency and capacity to overcome obstacles. Ability to respond to inquiries from various stakeholders and respond in a timely manner. Ability to work in a fast paced environment with competing priorities. Skills using Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint. PeopleSoft HRIS experience preferred but, not required.
